| C & K Harvesting & Trucking is a family business owned & operated by Chris & Karly Cherney. We harvest grains from Texas to North Dakota and back to Kansas for fall harvest. Our main purpose is to provide the farmers a professional and efficient way of harvesting their crops with a job well done. | |||||||||

| Karly is a 3rd generation harvester. The '09 harvest season will be 28 years on the harvest run. Learning from her parents at a young age how the business works and running the equipment has installed strong work ethics. Chris was raised on his family farm tending to livestock and helping with fieldwork from early childhood. In 1995, Chris & Karly purchased their first semi and grain trailer and joined a harvest crew as hired hands. In the winter months they hauled grain for farmers and elevators. In 1997, they purchased their first combine and headed south in the spring. With a lot of long hours and hard work the business has grown to currently 3 John Deere combines, tractor and grain cart, and 4 Peterbilt semi's. Over the years we have developed many friendships that started out as customers that we look forward to seeing every year. | |||||||||

| Thru the experience of working as crew members to running the business, Chris & Karly know what it takes to have a safe and productive harvest season. We take pride in our work and are respectful to others. We look for honest, courteous, and mature employees that possess safe working habits, common sense, and the ability to work long hours. We strive to choose employees that will take this responsibility as serious as we do. | |||||||||
| We have a crew trailer with accommodations for day to day activities. Meals will be provided. There will be occasional time off, weather permitting, for local recreation. | |||||||||
| We offer year round employment for CDL drivers hauling grain. | |||||||||
